More Changes for Championships – NEW Divisions!

More exciting news for the 2017 FFCC Championships! Every class in the FFCC has seen growth this season in all circuits Color Guard, Percussion, and Winds. The FFCC is now the largest single circuit in the state of Florida encompassing more counties and school districts than any other. All of these competitors culminate their season is one huge three day event in Daytona Beach  – the FFCC Championships.  This year our event has grown to the point where we have had to add divisions to several of our color guard classes. The goal of having divisions is create smaller competitive groupings for more accurate scoring so the teams get good information and can tell exactly what they achieve based on the judging criteria.

The B class and the AAA class have grown to a size where three divisions is an immediate necessity. The Board discussed the AA class and the A class at great length. They decided to use three divisions with them as well for several reasons, the size of the lower classes means many more teams will be promoted to populate the classes more evenly, the circuit shows every indication that next year will also be a year of expansion, and finally putting the divisions in place now will give us the structure for the future.

Championships will be a great celebration of really competitive teams in Color Guard, Percussion, and Winds. If you haven’t bought tickets yet you might want to get them early. Save a little money and avoid confusion and lines BUY TICKETS HERE!
