Thanks for helping to grow the marching arts in Florida!
Sebastian River High School, Color Guard Director
The Sebastian River High School Band Program is seeking a talented and motivated color guard educator to direct our growing color guard for both marching and winterguard seasons, starting the 2019-20 school year. The Marching Band will travel to 4-5 competitions in the fall and the winterguard will participate in FFCC and WGI Scholastic A (or potentially Open) events. This past year the Winterguard won a Gold medal in Scholastic A FFCC Championships, won second place in Scholastic A at the WGI Atlanta Regional, and was a semi-finalist in Dayton for WGI World Championships – only 3 places away from making finals. This is a fantastic group of students that is ripe and ready for national recognition for a talented new director! Salary is competitive and is commensurate with experience (paid by the band boosters). Please visit our website www.srhsband.com to learn more about our band program which consists of four concert bands, a 300+ member football band, and 200+ member competitive marching band, a jazz band, a steel drum band, and a rising color guard program!
To apply, please send a resume and cover letter to Ashby Goldstein, Director of Bands, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
