In accordance with the FFCC Policy and Procedure Manual, the 2018 Nominating Committee met recently to review all applications for open positions on the FFCC Board of Directors. This was voted in by the membership to better inform the members before the meeting. This will also speed up the election process as no nominations will be received from the floor. Each nominee was required to answer prepared questions, provide a letter of recommendation, and submit a resume. Those items were all turned over to the Nominating Committee for review the follow is the result of that process.
The following are proposals for changes in policy and procedures for the 2019 competitive season. This will give attendees time to read and prepare for the annual meeting on June 3, 2018 in Orlando Florida. Directors who wish to purchase wristbands for FFCC Championships weekend for the days they do not perform can do so for a discounted rate. However, you must do so before MARCH 30, 2018. You can find more information and the order form HERE.

The application to host a form for the 2018 season goes “live” on May 31, 2017! You can click HERE for access to the application. This application is good for all events – color guard, percussion, and winds. It is also the application you use if you are interested in co-hosting Premiere or Focus events.
New this year for regular season shows – you can offer competition on Friday night or Sunday. You will see all the dates and date combinations available on the application. The greater flexibility you have with dates the better your chances to secure an event. Also, if you have hosted an event in 2016 or 2017, you will get the short form allowing you to bypass the photo uploads. If you have questions on the application you can reach us via email HERE.
