The Daytona Beach Hilton will once again serve as our headquarters hotel, and rooms will be available for teams to reserve beginning in late 2018. As part of a 2017 policy change approved by the membership at last year’s annual meeting, applicants for upcoming vacancies/ending terms on the Board of Directors will be vetted by a nominating committee. Nominees will be shared with the membership prior to this year’s annual meeting so that all members will have the opportunity to review each applicant’s qualifications and position relative to the needs of the Circuit. Voting will occur at the annual meeting, but no nominations will be accepted from the floor.
We are currently taking applications for members willing to serve on the nominating committee, which will be made up of board members whose tenure ends in 2019, directors, and contest staff/judges. Nominating committee members are not eligible to run for a seat on the Board in 2018.
If you are interested in serving on the nominating committee, please fill out this form by Sunday, April 22nd.
