The FFCC is pleased to announce the addition of the FFCC Outdoor division to our circuit contest offerings. FFCC Outdoor will provide standardized, consistent, educationally focused  performance events for Marching Bands, beginning in the Fall of 2023.

Our inaugural FFCC Outdoor season will consist of three to four events spread throughout major regions of our circuit. The sites for these events are being vetted by our staff to give participating bands the best possible experience. The majority of these events will take place in October of 2023.

FFCC Outdoor events will be run by our contest staff, including registration, scheduling, and event management, much like our indoor premiere and championship events. Like our indoor events, a one time membership fee will allow your band entrance into as many FFCC Outdoor events per season as you would like to attend. A discounted rate will be offered to members with teams who maintain membership in our indoor circuit.

FFCC Outdoor events will focus on exceptional educational and performance experiences for students, and on creating a supportive environment for directors and staff that helps provide valuable feedback for growth during the marching band season. Much like our indoor season, adjudicators at FFCC Outdoor events will be selected for their expertise, and provided with a standardized and consistent system in which to deliver information to bands.  A Festival Class for bands wishing to receive feedback and a rating in preparation for their district events will be offered at all FFCC Outdoor events. In addition to adjudication, FFCC Outdoor events intend to provide clinicians and other educational activities to enrich the contest experience for students and staff. Like our other divisions, an Advisory Board will be established for FFCC Outdoor, and we will be reaching out to interested band directors for assistance in planning our inaugural season.

More information will be available throughout the spring. Reach out to us with questions here
